Rihanna debuted her latest collection for Puma last night at the opening night of Paris Fashion Week and we’ve rounded up the hottest looks
With splashes of hue-of-the-moment pink, sultry designs and lashings of loungewear, the Rihanna x Fenty collection for Puma threw down the marker for Paris Fashion Week. She told reporters that her inspiration was “what if Marie Antoinette went to the gym”, shown by the presence of modernised corsets, camisoles and babydoll designs, topped off with over-sized, baggy tracksuits. The collection was kept firmly on-trend with its colour choices as well as the appearance of exaggerated sleeves, bows and lace on both the clothes and accessories. Our favourite piece from the collection are the revamped sliders. Last year they stole focus having been adorned with fur, while this year Rihanna went for a simple silk bow pattern that we can’t wait to strut out stuff in. We’ve picked out the key looks from the show, so you can see just what you’ll be wearing come SS17.
Chic corsets were sported on a number of models throughout the show.
Lace was a predominant material, showcased in a variety of styles and hues.
Our favourite piece of the collection – the new sliders.
Pearls and underwear-esque designs contributed to the Marie Antoinette vibe.
Shade-of-the-season pink featured heavily throughout the collection.
Oversized tracksuits and loungewear added a more relaxed feel to certain pieces.
Every model sported a lace fan which was labelled with the Puma logo.
Bows were prominent in this collection, forming the focal point of many of the items.
